The Resuscitation Research Group at the University of Edinburgh is thrilled to announce our Scottish Cardiac Arrest Symposium - SCAS23 - to be held on Friday 6th October 2023 at the Hilton DoubleTree Hotel, Edinburgh. Event starts at 9.30am-4.30pm (registration from 8.30am)
Who’s Coming?
SCAS23 will attract a large and enthusiastic audience of resuscitation practitioners, decision makers and thought leaders from emergency services, prehospital medicine, third sector organisations, academics and Scottish Government. We will be streaming content from Edinburgh as a simultaneous free-to-view webcast and populating a view-later website.
What’s on?
Key themes of this year’s symposium will include high quality pre-hospital ALS, ECMO CPR, aftercare and GoodSAM. The tone of the meeting is informal and entertaining as well as informative, with the talks being 18-20 mins in a ‘TED’ style. For reference, talks from SCAS16 can be viewed at 2016.scas.scot.
